Tentative Season Line-up (will be updated as new info arises):
October 11: Octoberfest during an extended lunch hour
October 25: Awards Assembly during the afternoon
October 26: Commencement 2007 approx 7-9pm
November: Feeder School Tour
December 13: Holiday Concert @7pm
February: Festival
March: Scarborough Community Band Combined Concert
April: Celebration of the Arts
May 11: Civic Centre Concert @ 2pm
May 22: Final Concert @ 7pm

WELCOME BACK!
It's another fresh new concert season: 2007-2008! Miss. Gartshore and I are proud to once again represent the efforts, talents, and great people of the Thomson Music Department.
Rehearsals begin next week as follows:
*Senior Concert Band: Mondays 3:30pm-5:30pm and Wednesdays 3:30pm-5pm
Jazz Band: Mondays 8am -845am and Friday 3:30pm-4:30pm
Thomson Singers: Tuesdays 3:30pm-5pm
Music Executive: Wednesdays at lunch in the music room
Percussion Ensemble: Thursdays at 8am
*Students in Senior Band are reminded that they have a section practice once a week either before school, during 2nd half of lunch, or after school for 30mins. There is a sign up list and your section is free to choose the best time.

Our first performance will be Commencement 2007.
This year, we wish to continue with the feeder school tour, SE2 Celebrate the Arts Initiative, and also to add music festival.
We also have a special treat! The Scarborough Community Concert Band wants to do a joint concert with our school here in our auditorium! More details to come---how will we fit everybody on stage?
